Isn't that what we got when we all showed up to vote Republican? The GOP's prescription drug entitlement was the biggest-ever expansion of the welfare state, and the GOP exploded federal welfare spending even faster than Carter or Clinton did with Democrat Congresses.
Republicans spend even more money and create more welfare than Democrats. They just do it quietly. They'll continue to do it because they know most Republicans are just 'bots who will keep pressing "R" because they're terrified of gays and illegals.
