Not sure if I am going down the same path as you on this but it does remind me of going to the doctor and he telling me, “It’s good that you came in today”. Yes, because if I had waited another day, my body would have healed itself. I for one, hate to take medications unless I absolutely have to.
I do have friends that have going to detox retreats and felt a heck of a lot better. One had allergies and took pills for several years. After a 5 day retreat, they dumped the pills. Maybe it was just mind over matter.

No problem. I can identify with your follow-up comments though. If I had a dime for every time I've been told, "You should see a doctor for that.", I'd be a couple of dollars ahead. LOL
I don't go to the doctor any more than I have to for insurance purposes. By the stats it appears most men have the same policy on that topic.
I'm not against a detox retreat per se, but I'm not quite sure the Scientology retreat is what you and I would be thinking of along those lines.
