That is the funniest show in the history of television.

Indeed it was. While everyone remembers the classic "Turkey Drop" episode, I recall another, more somber moment, with Dr. Fever wiping away tears and ending a show in remembrance of the nine people killed in a stampede at a Who concert in Cincinnati in 1979. For some reason, that's the episode that has always stuck in my head.

The funniest episode I remember was when Carlton found some white powder (Johnny’s private pay-off stash). He was told it was foot powder.

When he found out the truth, Carlton was slapping his foot, and cried, “I’ve got a monkey on my foot.”

[I still crack up every time I recall that scene.]

Didn’t this happen in real life at Indiana University. Wasn’t it “Coach Lee Corso”(now on ESPN) who was the initiator of the “Turkey Drop”?
