Another Moral Absolutes ping, right?
What--no spoiler alert? Thanks a lot for giving away the ending.
The Prince was a Democrat ! How fitting!
“I want my children to understand everything about the difficulties that gay and lesbian couples are faced with every day. . . . I don’t want to impose my view. Nobody made me God,” he explained...............
This is a book for 2nd graders. Do we really want 2nd graders to understand everything about the difficulties that gay and lesbian couples are faced with every day?????? Is this really a subject for 2nd graders in the first place?????
Queen Charlatan, Prince Bammy, and Silky Pony are all in agreement...We need to “educate” our chuldrun to participate in our new amoral Socialist Republic and do what they are told.
Haven’t read this book, but wasn’t the prime responsibility of a royal heir in the old days to “carry on the line?”
Wouldn’t his “marrying” a guy make that kind of difficult?
Would these Democrats object if the story pulled a “Braveheart” with the King throwing the little queer prince out the window?!
I guess I’ll see you at re-education camp if the dems win the whitehouse.
“insisting on marriage before having children” What business is it of government or politicians to insist on this?
There’s a sequel already!
“King & King & Family”
“Join newlyweds King Lee and King Bertie on their journey into the noisy jungle. As they float down a river, the kings are greeted by wild animal families, but the royal travelers suspect that something more significant awaits them in the trees. The King & King soon discover that there’s no adventure more wonderful than starting a family.”

The Democrats are so easy to defeat if only the Republicans had some spine and IMAGINATION. Half the posters on this forum could write the ads they could win with using the Democrats’ own words and deeds. So why don’t they?
“Promise him anything...but give him our page.”
-Or-
The princess missed the midnight deadline and her "fairy" godmother turned her into a poofter.
There are some Fractured Fairy Tale possibilities here, but I don't think Barney Frank would appreciate the humor.
Little vague on biology, are we?
BTW, there were quite a few homos in the old European royal families. In Britain Edward II, James I and (possibly) Richard the Lionheart spring to mind. All except Richard did their marital duty and produced an heir.
Although one wonders if the Queen might have gotten a little extramarital assistance in some cases.
