"At the national level a coalition of prominent organizations and Spanish media companies have begun a campaign called Ya es Hora, Ve y Vota! or "It's time, go vote," in an effort to increase Hispanic participation for the upcoming presidential elections."

[”. . .any Hispanic vote can make a difference,” Ms. Gruner said in Spanish.]

It makes a difference if it is a “block vote”—all of them voting in lockstep for the same candidates. In 2004 Bush got 45 percent of the Hispanic vote, Kerry 55 percent. That’s not a block.

Well of course, and some American citizens are bilingual and others only speak Spanish, Polish, Greek, Vietnamize or a Chinese dialect. We have the right to vote because we are citizens not because of the language we speak.

The Hispanic vote will be minimized if all states require official photo I.D. cards to vote. Then the citizens of this country will not be disenfranchised!

I’ll bet the percentage of legal hispanic voters here is much lower.

Personally, and I am probably wrong, but I think some of these articles are printed to gin the hispanics up to get out and vote also. Of course they are increasing in numbers, thanks in part to the illegals, and yes, like you said, they have or should have to be citizens to vote. But the media is trying to play its’ part to build them up go vote too..

I wonder what would happen if there was an article tagged “Resurgence of White Vote Dominates Elections”? I’m thinking , it would start a war with the Jackson/Chavez types.

Azzztlan keeps growing and growing, thanks to the OBL Quislings in govt.

U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,

and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"

Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]

1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.

Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:

"Notwithstanding any other provision of federal, state, or local law, a federal, state, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."

Legal? I doubt it.

Firs we need to get rid if the terms HISPANIC and LATINO. It describes absolutely nothing. 60+% of the so called hispanic population in this country is Mexican-American. The rest are Mostly Puerto Rican, Dominican and South American and the only thing we have in common is we all can speak Spanish.

Trying to lump us all together describes nothing. It would be like saying that the rest of the United States must be made up of Anglos. It's a reflection of either laziness or an attempt by the liberal elites to invent another group in need of entitlements. Just as Anglo describes nothing, neither does Hispanic. We ought to make efforts at forcing the media and demographers into making distinctions.

Yesterday at Wal-Mart there was a young man sitting at the entrance with a sign saying register to vote here.

I needed to change my registration and asked him for the form.

He said do you have a drivers license and I said yes.

He then said fill out the form and you should receive a card in about two weeks with your new precinct.

The other night a Hispanic Activist woman on O’Really said giving drivers license to illegals would not allow them to vote.

As I saw yesterday all you need to register to vote is a drivers license and no other identification.

Last night coming home from Thanksgiving celebrations I listened to a Mexican radio program out of Mexico extolling illegals to stand firm against the government of the United States.

To tie up the government by filing frivolous lawsuits.

To frequent Hispanic owned businesses who support citizenship for illegals.

To write letters to those in charge such as local, state and federal representatives.

When possible register to vote using any means possible.

To join groups that are anti to U.S. immigration policies.

Already we have professors at California Universities that are members of MECHA who are attending meetings in Mexico City.

Making speeches calling for the overthrow of the U.S. government and state governments in the area of ATZLAN.

“The Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials recently released a report that states the Latino electorate in Georgia is growing at “astounding rates.”

“Appalling” would be more appropriate.

12 million immigrants came through Ellis Island in many decades.

There are AT LEAST 12 million or more illegals, most of them from Hispanic America, and most of those from Mexico
now. While the Ellis Island immigrants for the most part were assimialted, learend to speak English and became Americans, this crew wants us to use THEIR language and allow more of their illegal brethren in.

I’m beginning to feal like an American Indian in the 1700’s or a Romano-British Celt in the face of Anglo-Saxon invaders,
