I had that idea six months ago here on FR.
I said, dont listen to what candidates say, study closely WHO IS ON THEIR TEAM AND WHO WILL BECOME ADVISORS IF THEY ARE ELECTED PRESIDENT.
The Campaign platitudes are nothing but PR manfactured talking points like selling soap.
When you analyze WHO IS SELLING THE SOAP you learn a lot more as to how that candidate will in face administer and government.
This is one of the prime reasons I am not convinced==at this point==about FRED THOMPSON despite him saying generally all the right things in the primary.
