Abscam Murtha has been stealing vast amounts of federal money for years.

Treason seems to be a diversion for these democrat crooks to divert our attention from the fact that they need serious jail time.

Fat chance on getting that apology. Murtha is a scum bag crook and a disgrace to the uniform he once wore.

“Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.”

Fat chance on getting that apology.

That's probably true, but this has gone way past a simple apology. murtha will have to pay a much higher price for this to even approach justice done, IMO.

Murtha’s a real son of a b!tch, and if I ever have the misfortune to see him in person, I’ll probably tell him so.

Where was Murtha in Vietnam.
Please read “The Palace File”
He had just been elected to office at the close.
He was part of a final review mission in the spring of 1975 to determine to what level of support we should provide in accord with our commitment to South Vietnam as affirming our commitments to South Vietnam to induce their signing of the Peace Agreement. What position did he take as the report did not induce the US to send further support.
Says a lot about the character of the man - nothing has changed. Get out and leave them high and dry.

Murtha was one of a reported handful of lawmakers briefed in confidence on the incident by then Marine Commandant Gen. Mike Hagee earlier that month.

Is this true? Was it Hagee who put the bug in Murtha's ear?

"Murtha's Mistake "

Is this article serious? What mistake? This flying SOB has profited at every turn. Our justice system has let us down time and again, allowing these turds to profit.

Again and again and again...

No, that has been disproven. Hagee himself said murtha wasn't briefed until a week after he slandered the Marines.

Murtha is a traitor.

The PC idea that because someone has once, well served the nation gives them a free pass on all future pronouncements or activities is bogus. Benedict Arnold contributed mightily to the cause of the American revolution early in the war yet his name became synonymous with traitor by its end. Here is an excerpt from the wikipedia entry on him.

Arnold was considered by many to be the best general and most accomplished leader in the Continental Army. In fact, without Arnold’s earlier contributions to the American cause, the American Revolution might well have been lost; but after he switched sides his name, like those of several other prominent traitors throughout history, has become a byword for treason in the United States.[1][2]

Arnold distinguished himself early in the war through acts of cunning and bravery. His many successful campaigns included the Capture of Fort Ticonderoga (1775), the Invasion of Canada (1775), victory at the Battle of Valcour Island on Lake Champlain in 1776, the battles of Danbury and Ridgefield in Connecticut (after which he was promoted to Major General), and the Battle of Saratoga in 1777.
