I quit shopping at Target for the same reason.

It’s funny, they talk about Walmart employees being miserable, the Walmart I shop at, I know most of them on a first name basis, they’ve been there for the 14 years I’ve been shopping there.

I know many of the Walmart workers too & the checkers have never even looked in my bag & the alarm has gone off. I have no problem there. Once I did when I wanted Sassy’s ears pierced. The woman didn’t like my husband & was quite rude to him & refused to do her ears. We know the manager & she did Sassy's ears herself & gave us a Walmart $20 giftcard too just for her being so rude.

You probably live in an area with decent people. Our Wal-Mart is the same way. I can get in and out as quickly as I please. The staff is courteous and helpful. That also describes the local population in general. Good people.

A Wal-Mart is little more than a direct reflection of the residents of the locale in which it is located. When I lived in, let’s say, a much less desirable location, the Wal-Mart was horrible. That was only because the people were. It was a direct reflection of that locale.
