I just wish the correct term,murdered, would be used.Executed implies having been convicted of a crime.
At least we can hope the Romanovs,as members of the Church,will have their reward in Heaven.And the murdering thugs that abused a nation and reason face the Almighty's judgment.

I do agree there, it is sad they had to die that way, so sick and ruthless. I know in my family history, my great, great grandfather was part of the Red Army at that time and some say he knew Lenin. He did tell his son "to get out of Russia" so he did and my great grandfather served in the U.S. Army in World War I.
Still if I was around then or somehow went back in a DeLorean, I would end up fighting my great, great grandfather's forces since I would have sided with the Tsar. I see Tsar Nicholas as a decent man, but he got caught up with the events of the time and was indecisive. It was sick and rotten what the Communists did to them, in my mind, they are the flip side of Adolph Hitler.
