Japan's generals wasted thousands of soldiers in what they knew were hopeless attacks during WWII, because they didn't want to be considered "chickensh*t."
Nothing like making military or political decisions by letting one's vanity displace sound military thinking.
So by all means, lets think like adolescents by making political and military decisions based on whether we look like "chickensh*ts" or not.
If you think about it it’s the same as when Rosie O’Donnell said that we shouldn’t fear the terrorists, because they have families too.
Shaw's politics were a bit too liberal for me, but he wrote a few good plays. I especially liked "Pygmalion".
Shaw of Iran
I thought Shaw was from England.
If we all voted for Ron Paul, our vote would not be split.
so you are who are you comparing Japan to? Are you implying that the war on terror is hopeless, that we are wasting our time and we are losing?
ROFL!
I’m using what your false idol has said as well as his voting record but they’re “Generic and unfounded” accusations.
So who’d got their hand up his backside? It’s obvious that according to you sheeple that paul isn’t saying the things that he’s saying....That it’s someone else who’s projecting their voice every time he opens his mouth.
I’ve seen just as many pro-paul threads here as I have seen anti-paul threads.
Other sites I’ve been to have been over run by ron paullution spewing sheeple. This site by contrast has kept the paullution spewers in check.
“Constitutional basis” is really a piss poor excuse when he himself has proven that he doesn’t understand the Constitution.
So what was his “constitutional basis” for requisitioning $400 million in earmarks for projects that should have been funded by state or private organizations?
I'm saying there must be a better way to minimize terror than by being a big dog snapping at flies.
No, not now. But I spend a lot of time in it.
That pack of lies is just too huge to even try to address.
Are you serious right now?
Translation: you can’t address it.
The panic Paul inspires here, is making a Paul believer out of me.
I am reminded of Winston Churchill:
"A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.
"They make frantic efforts to bar out thoughts and words; they are afraid of the workings of the human mind."
...but when in Rome.......
It’s a bunch of unfounded accusation which have been debunked several times.
My elders used to say “you are free white and 21”, you can’t say that anymore but if you are 21 you can vote for Paul in the primary. Do it, it won’t do anyone any good but if it makes you feel better, then do it.
It is the general election vote that matters and if you are still voting for Paul then, we need to talk.
Please point out the panic to me. You do realize this is a political debate board correct?
It may surprise you but candidates looking to secure the Republican and Democrat presidential nomination are going to be discussed here.
As for the “making Paul a believer out of me”, kind of reminiscent of those “I used to be a Republican, but now I am a Democrat” posters, not very believable. You probably run a local chapter for him don’t you?
;)
now you are comparing Ron Paul to Churchill! Unbelievable.
