In response to the Fox News Rountable criticism of his campaign.

Other than opinions and everyone has one I have to look at the polls to see how things are going. I'm running second nation wide and ahead of Rudy G. in some - Fred Thompson

Another example of that is Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. Now he wants to ban guns statewide. As we all know, his total gun ban in Philadelphia did so much good to reduce crime there, right? ( Philadelphia sees murder rate of 1 per day)

Fred just took it to Chris Wallace and Fox. He showed he has backbone. I loved it. Fred’s got it.

FRed Thompson was excellent. He Stood up to Chris Wallace’s interrogation and the comments by the Beltway Boys outstandingly. He called out FNC nicely. Go FRed!

Fred did an outstanding job on Fox. He responded in a tough, but civil way to the Fox cabal that has been trying to sink his candidacy. I notice again that Wallace did not raise the immigration issue, which really sets Fred apart from the other top tier candidates.

I really have a problem with Fox and the other MSM interviewers in terms of what questions they ask and don't ask. The emphasis of Wallace on social issues like abortion is really a side show in terms of major challenges like entitlement reform, illegal immigration, health care, the WOT, etc. that face this country.

Ah, yes, the “Republican attack machine.” A slightly more PC and less nutty variation of the “vast right wing conspiracy.”

Excellent. But the “Round Table” gets the last word later. Wonder if more than just Juan needs a smackdown this morning?

Fred was awesome.

He should have been a bit more obvious in stating that FNC is biased against him.

But Wallace did get the point and even seemed genuinely flustered at the end.

Go Fred!!

I noticed that Chris Wallace spent a lot of time trying to talk over Thompson. Thompson didn’t let him do it.

I notice again that Wallace did not raise the immigration issue, which really sets Fred apart from the other top tier candidates.

Good point. All the other frontrunners are pro-amnesty. Giuliani is open borders. Huckabee is open borders. Romney is open borders but says he isn't. McCain created the amnesty program. Thompson's the only real believable frontrunning candidate that is pushing the immigration platform, and he seems to be the one who has been taking up the torch from the Hunters and the Tancredos on this issue.

Well, now I am really looking forward to seeing Fred Thompson on FNS.

It will obviously be better than this horse race dreck they are shoveling up on Timmy’s lame program.
