The funny things is the Dims should just drop Iraq as an issue totally. According to all the polling data National Security is the only issue Democrats lose on. As unbelievable as this is to thinking people, Democrats even score higher on the Economy then Republicans.

Yet like the arrogant, whiny children they are, the Democrat Leadership simply cannot bear to admit they are completely wrong on Iraq so they keep going back to this issue hoping THIS time the result of their petulant grandstanding will turn out different. Every time the Dems have tried arguing on the WOT, and Iraq is part of the WOT despite their lies to the contrary, they lose the argument.

They lost it in 2002, they lost it in 2004 and they ran away from it in 2006. Iraq is not one of their 6 for 06 agenda items. When ever Republican candidates found the guts to call them on their Iraq rhetoric the Dems ran away from the issue. It is only AFTER the 2006 elections that we got the junk media mythology spewed that 2006 was all about Iraq.

As we keep telling the Dims. 1st you get security, then you get economic progress then you will get political progress.

Every time the Dims try to move the goal posts on Iraq, it drops right smack on their heads. They would be better off playing Emily Lattelia and saying “Never mind” whenever Iraq comes up from now on.
