There was an accusation made of Guiliani (that, or
something related) at the debate last night and he
quickly denied it (”well first of all, the story’s
not true”)...something that had come on on Drudge
the day of the debate.

I didin't catch the guy's name that put it up on a ABC blog.

that's probably where Drudge caught wind of it.
