The words “Democracy” and Venezuela no longer go together.
I don’t get this.
Article is dated to 1918. 89 years old.
It’s a 90 year old article, juxtaposing the Venezuela of the past with the current dictatorship in Ven.
Maybe we need to organize an OFEC. That would be the Organization of Food Exporting Countries. The cost of grain exports would be tied to the cost of oil. When oil goes up, hey, here, have some $20 loafs of bread. We’ll then see whether people in Venezuela and Iran like to eat more than we like to drive.
