I don't like Huckabee's statement here, but I can live with it. He may be somewhat of a moderate in other areas (I wouldn't call this moderate exactly), but he is moderate in less offensive places than some of the others. Don't get me wrong, Hunter gets my vote. But Huckabee will get my vote if he wins the primary. Huckabee has flaws, but it is not fair to overstate them. Liars and cheaters don't deserve to win.
Everyone should remember all the questionable statements GWB made regarding abortion during his campaign. Huckabee and Thompson are both at least as pro-life as Bush. Perhaps not for the same reasons, as with Thompson, but I think they will bring the same results.
