Thanks for the kind word, mate, but I can't take much credit at all. HonestConservative wrote the copy -- all I did was read it. Loved that bit about Margaret Dumont!

She asked for the ''radio announcer'' voice, a la Gary Owen on the old ''Laugh-In'' programme. As it happens, I'm an old radio hand, 1971-1973, and that voice was one that EVERYONE practiced back then. Simplicity itself, just a matter of speaking from the rear of the mouth/top of the throat instead of the front of the mouth as we do in casual conversation. The only trick is the cadence of the text...which is usually easy to ''get'' with a little practice. Did about 10 minutes' rehearsal (because I'm way rusty...     ;^)
