We have temporary work visas just for that purpose. There’s nothing preventing farmers from getting workers LEGALLY from south of the border.
Illegal is just that. Employers that want to hire ILLEGAL aliens should be be dealt with severely. Because all they really do is steal from the community around them to increase their own profits at everyone else’s expense.

Just one illegal worker that brings his family of three children is costing the local school district at least $30,000 a year. And that’s not including the emergency room based health care, law enforcement, etc. Everyone else pays the costs while the employer profits. What's worse is those costs far exceed what was saved by the employer.
