What bothers me is that Copeland preaches “faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, righteousness, the anointing and the principles of victorious Christian living.”
I’m skeptical about the healing and speaking in tongues. But I’m very disturbed when someone boasts of teaching prosperity. I’ve read the Bible through a number of times, and seem to have missed the passages where God wants us to be prosperous.
I’m glad Huckabee doesn’t dump friends when the going gets tough - good on him. I’m very disturbed that he is a friend and supporter of Copeland. It might be good politics, but it is bad theology. I expect better of a Baptist minister...let alone a candidate for President!
Really you might want to got back to Abraham and read forward... God made many a man prosperous
Now, while the price of his home may not be much in other areas of the country, here in Arkansas it's a mansion.
Mike has prospered and wants to continue to prosper, Praise God!

The SBC produced Rick Warren out of their seminary. Why do you expect better discernment from a Baptist minister?
Granted, there are some, but it is in spite of what is being taught, not because of it.
For example, Ken Silva, Gary Gilley, etc. OF course, you don't hear those names every other day on TV like you hear Rick Warren.
