Jean Towell has rallied North Texans to cram phone lines at the U.S. Senate and fight "amnesty" for illegal immigrant college students. She's led others to do the same at Dallas City Hall, to oppose the opening of a proposed office of immigrant affairs.

At 71, the petite woman with the sugary voice is ready to go mano-a-mano with anyone lax on illegal immigration.

It is the opinion of Open Border Advocates that America does not have a culture. It is, for the record; “Football, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet”.

Citizens for Immigration Reform calls on President Bush and Congress to protect "the American people from invasion." From bilingual signs to pizza companies that accept Mexican pesos, "American culture" is being shredded, Mrs. Towell says.

If she really believes that having the choice to pay for a pizza in pesos will destroy the American Culture, she must not have faith in the strength of the American Culture.

She is referring to symptoms, not causes. The weakening of the value fo our own culture is what allows the others (mostly Mexican) to establish themselves.

America and other Western nations are being told that we have no culture that’s worth preserving, The only culture we’re permitted to have is one of tolerance of other people’s cultures. In other words, Kenyans or Arabs or Mexicans have concrete, real, visible cultures. But America, Britain, Holland, and Sweden exist only to tolerate and be open to the cultures of Kenyans, Arabs, Mexicans, etc.

Dallas resident Jean Towell says illegal influx threatens 'American culture'

Recently I read that Texas was getting flooded by the illegal aliens leaving Oklahoma. Now that OK's tough law survived a federal challenge why doesn't Texas do the same thing and pass something similar? It works and the illegals are almost home being so close to the border.

PREACH IT, SISTER!

Anyone liking concepts like "Mexifornia" should just move to
Mexico.
To get the full effects of what their home state will be like
in short order.

IMHO, there's a general understanding that little old ladies
start shouting...they just don't give a rip about anyone that
tries to shout them down.

And they probably do care about the future generation's prospects.
Well, except for old childless/lesbian gripers.

And as for old shouting geezer-guys (which I hope to be one day)....
too many of them are just blowing off steam accumulated while suffering
for decades in silence from @$$hole bosses, as well some exceptional
@$$hole spouses and offspring!
The sad thing is that for most shouting geezers...the offending parties
often can't hear them. As the stinkers have beat them to the graveyard!

That’s unfortunate, almost every state in the region, including even Kansas and Utah are getting ready to pass laws like Oklahoma’s. I know Arizona and Colorado already had something in place. Texas and California will probably end up with most of the illegal alien refugees.
