The primary source is a respected magazine in the tradition of the old Look! magazine or the Saturday Evening Post.
The First Post is a conservative magazine in the UK. They strongly supported Tony Blair and often have positive news reports about Bush.
The Village Voice ain't exactly a right-wing outfit. They can't pin this one on a VRWC. If the republicans were smart, they could get ahead on this issue: "We don't care about Hillary's sexual preference, we just disagree on....."
“But this is front page news in England.”
It is not front page news per se. It was a story about rumors in SC. It listed this as one. It wasn’t news other than the fact that they were reporting on rumors making the rounds in SC. Comparing it to 2000 (McCain black baby), etc.
Those two statements don't really reconcile with each other.
