Well I think you’ve got a loosely constructed argument regarding the rape, but I’ll agree in principle. El Morte is a leftist. It’s hard for me to think a nation would back him selling it out. I think the populace being hoodwinked by a charlatan, would be closer to reality. El Morte may cost Israel greatly. If so, I hope he is the one who is mortally wounded (figuratively), and not the nation.

If so, it would be far from the first time. Significant popular support for making dangerous concessions is nothing new over there. Just like U.S., Israel's got more than their fair share of deluded and naive liberals. ...redundant as that is.
