While he’s on the West Coast I sure wish he would take a trip up to Washington. Conservative KVI radio host Kirby Wilber is a major Fred supporter and has been trying to get Thompson on his program for a long time, but with no luck.

Fred needs to understand, the West Coast republicans have not really latched on to a candidate yet. Now is the time to grab us.

Ah, Tom McClintock... A man who knows first-hand what it’s like to have a RINO with some name recognition seize the lead and ruin the entire government. Especially since the arguments that we should support Rudy are the same arguments given that we should support Arnie - he’s conservative *enough*.

Which, of course, was a disasterous lie. Given that he only beat McClintock by 10%, if that lie had not been told Arnie might never have set foot in the Governor’s office.

I am not (yet) a hard core FRedhead...

...but I still feel bad for not supporting Tom McClintock in the Recall election here in California a few years ago...

...where we replaced an incompetant Democrat (Gray Davis) with a RINO (Arnold) who was supposed to be "soft on social issues, but solid on all of our OTHER issues."

For now, I plan to follow what Tom McClintock does very closely...

Our NEXT project is to find someplace close by to meet immediately after the rally for "food and fellowship" -- to review what we did right, and what we can do better.

We MIGHT even decide to have some of us follow the "Tom and Fred" show as they go on the road, to the "high dollar" functions later in the day.

I don't think that the nice folks with the Fred08 team would mind if we held our "Fredhead" signs OUTSIDE the fundraisers in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills, so that arriving guests could see them, eh?

I find the justifications being offered now for supporting Rudy to be DEPRESSINGLY familiar. :(

But Arnold/Rudy can WIN!

At least he's not as bad as Gray Davis/Hillary Clinton!

After a brief fling with the well-intentioned, but poorly-executed (relatively conservative) ballot propositions a few years ago, Arnold has swerved HARD left, on immigration, "global warming" and out-of-control government spending.

Schwarzenegger has arguably been MUCH WORSE than Gray Davis EVER could have been.

The harm to our country from such a hard-left shift on a NATIONAL level, if (God forbid!) Rudy emulates Arnold could be DEVASTATING.
