What does the periwinkle blue island in the upper right of the map signify?

I believe the blue means a surface water lake feature that I think is called Diyala Lake. The lake is in Diyala Province northwest of Baqubah and of course Baqubah is northwest of Baghdad. I believe the lake is on the Diyala River system that starts in Iran and drains into Iraq. I believe there is a dam near the southwest potion of the lake. I believe the surface water drains in the Diyala River into the Tigris River.

I think buhayrat on the reference map means lake but I could be wrong.

I note the insurgency has now spread around the northern fringe areas of lake area in Diyala province. I believe the Coalition generals have indicated the insurgency is on the run and I think this area around the lake is one of the rural settings of Diyala Province where the insurgency is trying to regroup. Here is hoping that the insurgents don't succeed around this lake area and the coalition continues to knock them down.
