Most murders are domestic. I can see where a Governor or Mayor might be able to impact crime through State or Local Legislation and enforcement. Most laws and Statutes are State or Local. Therefore, why would that be important for a President who’s primary focus is Foreign Policy and Defence?
That’s better than living in the state of Massachusetts.
