I disagree on nearly every point.
This country’s best days are still ahead. There some fine people out there doing some amazing things.
Chin up, man. Go out tommorrow and make somebody smile. :-)
You’re optimism is refreshing, however I don’t hold the same opinion, but not for the lack of hope.
Specifically what?
There were thousands of malls in the US today that had no violence. Roughly three hundred million of us had no violence upon our person today.
Some millions of times just today, a gentleman opened a door for a lady. Millions of times. And a big brother stuck up for a little sister on a playground. And a neighbor stopped to visit with the elderly veteran next door. And a grateful citizen bought a recently-returned soldier a beer at the local bar. And somebody slowed down on the highway to let somebody merge. And a dad pushed his little girl a little higher on the swing just to hear that cute squeal.
Millions of times.
This nation has the highest and most luxurious standard of living ever in the history of mankind. Our poorest people are wealthier than most of the whole rest of the world.
Things just aren’t all that bad. They’re pretty good, in fact.
Yeah, we’ve got stuff to fix. Some of it we’ll get fixed before others. Some of it maybe we’ll never fix. Well, thems the breaks.
Tommorrow millions more good things will happen and we’ll keep trying.
:-)
Why do you say that? A big TV?
But what does that mean?
