Exactly. What makes her think that Colin Powell’s interested?

I’ve always thought Colin Powell a good and decent man. That he left the Bush Administration (was “invited” to leave, actually) because he disagreed with Bush on the handling of the Iraq war was unfortunate, but the man stood his ground. He might see it necessary to get back into the political arena if it means for the good of his country.

He’d be able to stab Republicans in general, Americans in particular, in the back again with official standing.

No way she could be stupid enough to mention Powells name at a campaign event without having previously cleared it with him. Powell is too big a name to just drop haphazard.

Powell has apparently turned to the dark side - officially. Expect to see him being used as the antidote to ‘not enough experience in foreign policy’ from the Hillary squad.
