Rumor has it the kids in our district have their guns in the backs of their pick-ups, especially during hunting season (which it is now), and especially if they don’t get a deer before school.
Bringing a gun on a school bus is blindingly stupid, at the very least. But then again, there’s lots of redneck areas in NYS, believe it or not.

Oh, I know there are rednecks in NYS. I’ve sold and bought sheep there. Parts of NYS are blindingly beautiful, and most of rural NYS is at least interesting. Could do without the weather though ...
Maybe if you had more rednecks you'd have fewer pantywaist politicians in NYS.
