Interesting article.

I do question if blacks were being ‘hung from trees’ in the 1950s and 1960s as he says. Weren’t the last lynchings in the 30s? and wasn’t it two or three in twenty years?

More than that get shot in one night in urban areas.

I think the last recorded, verifiable lynching took place in 1964. But you are correct that there were very few after 1950 - fewer than a dozen in total.
