"Brigadier Gen. Keith Kerr (Ret.): My name's Keith Kerr, from Santa Rosa, California. I'm a retired brigadier general with 43 years of service. And I'm a graduate of the Special Forces Officer Course, the Commanding General Staff Course and the Army War College. And I'm an openly gay man. I want to know why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians."

Note real carefully that the question was not inquisitory, such as "are you?" It was accusatory, such as in "why are you?".

That was the first tip off I and many had that it was a classic Democrat/MSM "set up", in the first 10 seconds. Millions more figured it out in the next few seconds. The blogosphere is on fire with this story.

I’m a retired brigadier general with 43 years of service.

Interesting how the use of an illegal title (outside the state of CA) and a deceptive claim to 43 years service, by an openly homosexual man, can turn what should have been a republican candidate debate into a three ring circus.

...and where does the responsibility lie? I might have to say CNN as moderator had full responsibility to conduct a debate not a three ring circus. You don’t suppose there will be an ounce of fallout for CNN? I didn’t think so.
