I took both pages of the CNN transcript and ran them through an excel spreadsheet, counting various items to get a rough % of words spoken by the candidates at tonight's Youtube debate... Face time? Don't know. Some talk faster than others, though who can argue that all pols aren't fast talkers in one way or another...even the ones we like!

Giuliani 21.7% Romney 20.5% Huckabee 13% McCain 13% Thompson 11.5% Paul 9% Hunter 5.8% Tancredo 5.5% Means that Guliani and Romney are the top two and mixed it up as we all saw from ths start

What percentage of Giuliani’s words were lies?

Do a count on that!

No kidding!! It must be gratifying to the media to know they pick the candidates for us to vote on.

“No kidding!! It must be gratifying to the media to know they pick the candidates for us to vote on.”

Gratifying for them, irritating for me to watch so many Republicans dutifully fall in line with the media’s choices.

It’s heartbreaking is what it is. The WOE of the ages.
Who was that totalitarian SOB in the last century who said they were greatful to count on the electorate being so ignorant?

We never learn.

I detest that rambling on and ignoring the fact their time is up. They get more time than 4 of the others put together, and hog for more. That attitude says to me, “ I don’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else” and “LOOK at MY ego!!’

And McCain is just a hothead. Has everyone forgotten his infamous temper?

Yeah, like we need those charachteristics in a president.

Very disheartening.

Well, Huckabee was ‘charming’ as usual. Another ‘charming’ Arkansas con man. Yahooo...

McLame’s appearance was “frightening”, the way he stared, darting eyes, almost growling - UGH.

Rudy’s temper came out.

Fred and Duncon just can’t get traction.

Perhaps a Romney/Huckabee ticket will be the best we can do.

I’m no McCain fan, but I like the way he appeared to be containing his rage at the idiot Ron Paul - particularly re:Vietnam.
