2nd place early in a PRIMARY means nothing my FRiend.... even if he WINS the PRIMARY... if he fails to capture a TRUE majority of conservatives...... equals 2nd place in the GENERAL election my friend..... some conservative voters have told me that they would NOT vote for FRed in the GENERAL election... NO conservative voter has told me that they would NOT vote for Duncan Hunter if he wins the PRIMARY.. the only question that remains is whether or not Duncan Hunter CAN win the primary.. I believe that as more folks start to see that he CAN win... his poll numbers will follow.. Just my 2cents worth my FRiend..

I wasn't very pleased this evening with Fred's comments on abortion. It was hard to distinguish from Rudy's or Paul's - let there be fifty different definitions for life. Romney was only marginally better. I was pleased, however, that Thompson and Paul both debunked the popularly-disseminated false premise of penalties for women seeking abortion when it is illegal. The penalty, pre-Roe, ALWAYS went to the doctor, NEVER to the woman who was treated by the law as a second victim. Ignorance was paraded in that YouTube question, and is by many right here on FR.

This is a "51%" issue for many of us - none of these other things (social security, WOT, immigration, etc.) matter without the right that is the God-given foundation to all other rights. There is no point to further discussion on these other matters if we have no right to life, and if we vacillate on the obvious, that life begins at the beginning - at conception. It is not a state-by-state issue, and there is no reason (other than utilitarian justification for abortion) to believe that the intent of the 14th Amendment would exclude people whose development, owing to the primitive level of medical of the time, would not have been understood at that time but IS understood as a dynamic, indivisible, whole process today. Indivisible and whole. There is no magic "viability" moment, no magical "third trimester moment". The process is a smooth indivisible whole.

Only Hunter, Huckabee, and Tancredo get it.
