They tossed Kuby overboard the day they announced that they signed Imus. Curtis has been doing the good soldier thing in the mornings with his former nemesis Jeffrey Lichtman (the lawyer for Gotti Jr. after Curtis was ambushed and shot multiple times on his way to work for speaking out against Gotti). No word on what will happen to Curtis after Dec 3 when Imus is on. Too bad because this was the top rated morning newstalk show in NY. I think WABC Radio will suffer and lose ratings with Imus. They’ve lost me.

Curtis and Kuby had consistently higher ratings than Imus, when they were in the same time slot.
BUT Imus's listener demographic is richer. (My spouse says Wall Street guys listen to him.) Ergo, more advertising revenue.

Months ago, when the news about the programming change first leaked out (IIRC in the NYPost), it was reported that Curtis might be teamed up with John Gambling in the 10-noon slot.
I never heard anything more about that. But no doubt Curtis will stay on at least as a substitute host.
Good riddance to Kuby. He was seriously infected with BDS and told at least one whopper every day. Jeff Lichtman, even though he's a social liberal, is much better (and MUCH funnier!) teamed with Curtis than Kuby ever was.
There are a lot of potential jokes in that picture.
The guy is Anderson Cooper of CNN the man who hosted the debate last. The woman is Jodie Foster, an actress.
