...calling Global Warming what it is: an enormous hoax whose aim is not saving the planet, but rather, carrying the torch for communism and its utterly discredited bag of lies whose sole aim is to give a small group of elites control over the Earth’s stupid and uneducated population. For their own good, of course.

Perfect!

"It is the greatest scam in history," said Coleman on the ICECAP Web site.

His statement should be sent to all "news" programs on MSM,and local TV media who seem to shout "global warming" scares during weather reports on a regular basis.

The early winter freeze up in the sub arctic isn't even mentioned, nor the -20c below normal temperatures that are causing havoc in northern communities.

But they regularly run "poor polar bear" stories, citing polar bears in churchill Manitoba are unable to get on arctic ice to hunt seals.

Of course dumb humans buy this B.S., not thinking long enough to realize polar bears in churchill don't hunt on arctic ice flows, they'd have to walk a thousand miles or so to do that. Churchill polar bears live on the tundra surrounding the Hudson bay, a watershed area where fresh waters mix with sea water and empties into the Atlantic.

Global Warming is only one facet of neo-lysenkoism. Fortunately for planet earth there is no Stalin to back it up at this time.

This stuff has always worked for the major media in the past. They echo the scare stories off each other until the public swallows it.

Not so anymore where we can go to sources to verify or blow holes in their stories. They have been working off the theme that they control the news that reaches the public. They have lost that control and are floundering helplessly to try and regain it.

Right now they seem to think that sheer arrogance will accomplish that goal.

* It always has in the past.

“Global Warming: The New Lysenkoism”

Background for those that haven’t heard about fraudulent plant
scientist Lysenko and the dedicated plant scientist/geneticist
that oppossed Lysenko.

VOA’s summation: Lysenko was a Lamarkian and got praise for his theory
of environmentally acquired traits for plant...e.g., planting them
further and further
north, thinking the seed of the plants would be hardier the next year.
This concept fit well with the Communist idea of “stuggle” and getting
stronger all the time.

Vavilov was more of a Medelian geneticist and suffered greatly when
Lysenko became the darling of Soviet plant/crop science.

This episode essentially doomed the USSR for about two decades of
pathetic crop yields. And millions suffered and some surely starved.

Trofim Lysenko
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trofim_Lysenko
excerpt:
Lysenko rejected Mendelian genetics in favor of the hybridization theories
of Russian horticulturist Ivan Vladimirovich Michurin, and adopted them
into a powerful political scientific movement termed Lysenkoism. (snip)
Scientific dissent from Lysenko’s theories of environmentally
acquired inheritance was formally outlawed in 1948, and for the next
several years opponents were purged from held positions, and many
imprisoned. Lysenko’s work was officially discredited in the Soviet
Union in 1964,...

Nikolai Vavilov
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Vavilov
excerpt:
In 1940 he was jailed as a defender of the “bourgeois pseudoscience”
(genetics) in a struggle with Lysenkoism, and died of malnutrition
in a prison in 1943.

The really sad thing is that once-reputable sources of information like Scientific American and National Geographic have fallen under the control of editors who buy into the Lysenko-Gorist madness. A significant number of their articles (and almost all of their editorials and columns) are about PGW (Phony Global Warming) in one form or another. And most of the other articles seem to include an accepting nod to the idiocy...

It is with considerable sadness that I am about to cancel subscriptions that I have maintained for many decades...

Lysenko has that same, vain, thuggish look that characterizes Algore.

I’m glad that someone else is picking up on the Lysenko simile. I called it that a year or more ago, when the Gore machine began proposing carbon indulgences.
