Yeah made me laugh too but seriously this is why people should be committed to a hospital when clearly they are schizophrenic but not homicidal or suicidal. With all the advances in medicines for the mentally ill proper meds make the difference in having a life or having the voices in your head controlling you. I know my mom had that illness/diagnosis.

I can only imagine how hard that must be, missanne. You're right about the hospitalization part tho - have the meds improved that much? In my experience (I used to be a nurse) it always seemed that once people get back on them and get to feeling better, they go off them again because of the side effects. (Maybe that's just because I didn't see the people that took their meds and tolerated them well - they didn't keep coming back to the hospital.)

P.S. I hope you didn't think I was being callous - didn't mean to be.

The wonderful healthcare we have today is making it increasingly difficult for people with mental health problems of any type to get the care that they need and it is making it very difficult (if not dangerous) for the families involved.
