Pledge of Intent
There’s been quite a bit of hand-wringing over the Pledge of Intent that voters will have to sign when voting in the Republican Primary in February. So, without further ado, I give you the pledge, in its entirity.
I, the undersigned, pledge that I intend to support the nominee of the Republican Party for President.
That’s it.
No Oath of Undying Fealty to the Republican Party, not even a set in stone agreement to vote Republican in the fall.
Simply a statement that you’re participating in the Republican Primary in good faith. That when you walk into that voting booth in February, you’re doing so with an intent to vote Republican in November.
Is this a perfect solution to the issue of cross-over voting? No, but it’s the best we can do until we get registration by party (contact your local elected official).

It’s stupid. It is meaningless. And it is UNAMERICAN.
yes but for those of us (once again I’m not a Virginian, though if I were I would be proud to be one ;)), and INTEND NOT to support a RINO POTUS Nom, but WOULD support a CONSERVATIVE; They are FORCING us to lie (I’d personally rather..sit it out in that case-and they are driving away “good conservatives”). Thanks Rinos, thanks liberals, and thanks party over my conscience sellout compromiser country-clubbers!!..
