We should stop shipments from Venezuela and bid higher for oil to make up the shortfall for a week.
And then see how Hugo likes that since he’s constantly threatening to cut us off. Apparently most countries can’t refine his low grade crude so it would be hard for him to sell elsewhere. A shock from his sugar daddy might enlighten the population.

As a Mexican journalist pointed out a decade ago, there has never been a Mexican President (including "El Indio" Benito Juarez) who hasn't married at least two shades whiter than himself. The same applies to most racially mixed Latin American countries, but you already knew that. ;-)
If Chavez remained a mid-grade officer, he would have been lucky to marry his housekeeper. As Henry K once said power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.

BTW: For those of you our there interested in such things, who was the only nonwhite ruler Cuba ever had (not counting the Arawak Indians).

I was at a Mexican restaurant recently and they had a big screen TV tuned to one of the Mexican satellite channels. A soap opera came on (soaps are wildly popular in Mexico). There were so many fair haired, blue eyed girls that I would have thought I was watching Reykjavik or Helsinki TV instead of Mexico City.
It's that way in India, too. Check out the top Bollywood babes, such as Aishwarya Rai:
