He also said that Huckster should be made to answer for his illegal immigration position.

This is Rush quote;

There was one candidate who did not display any moderateness or liberalism or have any of his past forays into those areas displayed, and that candidate was Fred Thompson. Now, this is not an endorsement. You know, I don’t endorse during primaries. ~ Rush Limbaugh the word smith

****

....sure Rush and Mary Matalin who is Fred’s advisor and also a belt way gal, who is married to another belt way guy James Carville.

Rush clearly is not giving due consideration to Fred’s own RINO past, his flip flops, his alliances with the Gang of 14, his weakness on immigration, McCain-Feingold, his failure to support key elements of the GOP platform etc.... also Mary accompanied Rush on the plane to Afghanistan... Hmmm. Very interesting. All very cozy with the Fred people. Too inside the beltway

No wonder Fred feels like a walk in to the primaries he seems like a shoe in soon Rudy past will catch up with him and Rudy Dumpy will have a great fall!

Why ALL Conservatives need to support Duncan Hunter - Including you, Mr. Limbaugh

The problem with Fred is that he has no spark, no charisma. He can’t think very quickly on his feet. He seems nervous (e.g., keep clearing his throat) during debates. I’m not sure he can take on and defeat a strong Democrat like Hillary or Obama, unless he somehow starts to turn on the charm.

Rush endorses Fred, by breaking his rule and revealing his support for Fred Thompson Rush still retains the fig leaf cover of “You know, I don’t endorse during primaries. I just point out: “

” Some of you might not think of this as an upside or a silver lining, but the genuine moderate as opposed to conservative aspects of three of the top-tier, four of the top-tier candidates were on full-fledged display last night. There was one candidate who did not display any moderateness or liberalism or have any of his past forays into those areas displayed, and that candidate was Fred Thompson.”

“You can be 80%, but it depends on what the other 20% are, and I’m just telling you that last night, it was Huckabee and Rudy and Mitt Romney, because of these questions, who were all faced with the reality — and everybody watching saw it — that they’ve got some governance in their pasts that is not conservative, and this is something that just hit me.”

I think Rush is starting to acknowledge that when the rubber finally, actually meets the road, there is no one but Fred.

Rush is right. I can't imagine Thompson spewing PC BS like this, that's for certain.

But here is the actual audio of Rush saying that the other day following the debate.

I have an actual audio of a moose pooping.

Should I start a thread?

Thank you very much for making the audio of this available for everyone to hear. I really enjoyed listening to it again and it was just as powerful the second time.

I hope the link will stay active so we can continue to share it with others.

I have Rush 24/7 and I am going to listen again to the first hour of Rush’s show for last Thursday. I recall him saying “there was one candidate on the stage last night that did not mush into a moderate”. I believe he said that just before what is recorded on the blog recording. I just really liked Rush’s words, implying that Fred DID NOT MUSH INTO A MODERATE! I will listen to Rush’s show again just to make sure I didn’t “hear things” Rush did not say. :)
GO FRED!

Frankly, I don't believe Fred is as conservative as some would have us believe. And then that leaves the question, can he defeat Hillary and/or Obama? The answer is NO.

Obama, contrasted to Fred, will appear very youthful and along with the resounding call to elect the nations first black president, Obama will win.

Well, there is Duncan Hunter, who was soldiering on in Congress while Fred was acting.
