U.S. News and World measured how each school's students performed on state tests, adjusting for student circumstances. Then it evaluated how well each school's disadvantaged students did. Lastly, they looked at whether the school was successful in providing college-level coursework. I think I understand why there are a large number of DC schools.

Doesn’t save you money at colleges where they have a MINIMUM hour requirement at a college level institution. All you end up doing is qualifying your kid to take the higher level stuff sooner.

Depends on the school, the subject, and the score on the AP exam.

I was speaking of the universities and colleges with a minimum requirement of instruction at a college or university ~ such that AP courses don’t count against the hourly requirement.
