I was just talking about this with my father last night because he attended Stuyvesant High school. He did some research of the criteria used to rank the schools. The rankings don’t take into account schools size. Some of these schools have more than 3,000 students while some have less than 500 making it more difficult for the larger schools to achieve the same percentages of a given category as the small schools. One of the “high schools” includes grades 6-12 because it is so small.
