It took a long time but old hilly got her Photo-op in.
Well said.
Hillay’s! handling of this situation makes me wish SHE were in charge at 9-11.
LOL!! Golly gee, I heard about an emergency taking place 600+ miles from where I was sipping my latte and let me tell you all, I was absolutely COOL UNDER FIRE! I even picked up my cell phone to call and make unsolicited and unneeded suggestions to EMS about how to handle said emergency, but then I was sooooo cool under pressure that I decided I could wait 5 hours to see how things turned out. Once everything was resolved with no loss of life I was ready to go on national TV and announce that I SHOULD BE PRESIDENT OF THE USA. After all, I have truly displayed “cool under fire” for emergencies happening hundreds of miles away.

Well .. IT USED TO BE “LED” - AND TO “LEAD” SOMEONE IS SPELLED WITH THE “A”.
Such as: I led her to her chair.
or: I will lead her down the stairs.
Did you get this from Wikipedia ..??
1) 'Led' is the simple past tense of the verb 'to lead', sounded with a long 'e'.
2) 'Lead', sounded with a long 'e', as in 'lead paragraph' is an adjective. 'Lede' is simply a piece of newspaper industry jargon.
3) 'Lead', sounded with a short 'e', is the metal having chemical symbol Pb.
Hillary was not even there at the hostage taking, so why should she not be calm? I was calm too.
LOL!!!!! Best one yet!
(and they’re all great)
Doug, you should put up a blog of “Hillary cool under fire” with a couple of dozen versions of this...... instant classic.
How ‘bout the famous photo of Monica in her beret, smiling as she and Bill hug and chat?
Her Regal Thighness.
Didn’t she go nuts because her socialized medicine plan failed?
Yet she “stayed calm” when her husband raped Juanita.
What a woman.
I'll be surprised if Hillary gets the nomination. If she is the presidential candidate, she will be very easy to beat -- the exception being Giuliani and maybe Romney. In a real presidential campgaign, Thompson would absolutely dominate.
No matter how friendly the coverage, the media betray Hillary because she betrays herself. She is loathed, and the media are not her friends even when they want to be.
Shrillary on her cell phone to Juanita Broaddrick: “Juanita, honey, I want you to know I’ve been perfectly cool under fire since my husband raped you. We do appreciate all that you do for us!”
Shrillary on cell phone to Kathleen Willey: “Kathleen, darling, I’ve been perfectly cool under fire since my husband fondled and assaulted you while your husband was out committing suicide.”
Shrillary on cell phone to Vince Foster’s widow: “Lisa, baby, I’m still perfectly cool under fire and I haven’t lost a night’s sleep since your husband’s unfortunate demise. He, on the other hand, just couldn’t handle the pressure of lying and committing fraud on the American public. Poor guy!”
