It eventually did get handed over and the police after reviewing it said there was “relevant information” on the tape. Which you can interpret how you will.
Darn! Al Sharpton could have defended him. It wasn't racism, but it could have been and it's the seriousness of the possible crime that counts.
Why isn't he being charged??
I asked the same question about the Black girl who accussed the Duke guys of rape. The Answer:
"No good can come from charging her."
Marvin L. "Doc" Cheatham, president of the NAACP's Baltimore chapter, said the fact that such an incident could occur shows that pervasive racial problems persist in the department. - Baltimore Sun
This is a hate crime! I demand that he be put in prison!
Won’t happen. AS SOON AS the police find out that the criminal who did the deed is NOT WHITE, it’s all over. No prosecution. No hate crime. No jail. No nothing.
That’s why I say that “hate crime” laws were created explicitly for the express purpose of harassing WHITE PEOPLE!
Doesnt the fact that the racism has to be manufactured prove that it is pretty rare?
“He should be hung. This crap isnt funny.”
watch out. Those firemen might ‘flame’ you.
There’s an incredible amount of racism involved in this case. First the act itself was designed to incite hatred of white people and to deny them employment. Then when a black man admitted to the racist hoax, “a spokesman for the Police Department and for Mayor Sheila Dixon, said the man admitted to the hoax and will not face criminal charges.”
A hate crime against yourself...
Well if that ain’t the kettle calling the pot black!
Ohhh, shoot...Muh bad...
This case seems to have vanished down the memory hole. A black professor claimed to have found a noose hanging on her office door. She made the usual show of outrage and hysteria over it. Students held a big "anti-racism" rally and wept and moaned over it. The administration vowed to leave no stone unturned until they found the perpetrator and prosecuted him to the fullest extent of the law. The media gave it lavish coverage.
Then someone noticed that a security camera in the area may have filmed the noose hanger. Suddenly, Columbia's administration started mumbling about how they really couldn't turn the tape over to authorities without a warrant. The professor stopped bellowing and quietly went back to work. The media dropped interest in the story.
We never did learn what was on the security tape or who hung the noose. An arrangement was finally made for authorities to look at the tape, I think. But neither the press nor anyone else ever reported what was on it. It all sounds pretty suspicious to me.
“Why isn’t he being charged??”
Don’t you know about the new laws.
It’s not what crime you commit. It’s WHO you are.
Just ask:
Clintons
Guiliani
Montel Williams
Scooter Libby
Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame
OJ Simpson
Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
Michael Jackson
Al Gore
I could go on forever with this list.
Don't you mean "hanged", or are you trying to stereotype or something?
It's elementary.
More and more, it looks like you are right about that.
He must’ve meant “hanged”. Which implies “lynched”, though by legal court ordered means. Not that we do that, anymore. As for *hung*, that’s a myth, anyway. At least, as it pertains to races.
