* Initiates fights at school/aggression toward others.

The allegation that Damien threatened to kill his mother, Pamela Hutchison, appears a number of times in his mental health records. This overlaps with the incident in which Echols is said to have threatened to kill his father.

While in Oregon, several times had threatened to kill his father. On one occasion, Damien made a plan to “slash my parents’ throats and eat them alive.”
Transferred to Crittenden, one of the kids at the detention hall cut his wrists, Damien grabbed his arm and began to the suck the blood smeared it over his body and said he’s a devil worshipping vampire. Says he’s not a vampire but a witch.

The three victims disappeared while riding bicycles in their neighborhood May 5, 1993. Their bodies were found the next day in a watery ditch near their homes.
The state Supreme Court unanimously affirmed Baldwin’s and Echols’ convictions in 1996, citing what it called substantial evidence of guilt.

James Michael Moore was the first victim recovered from the water. His arms and legs were bound together behind his back. A shoelace linked left wrist to left ankle. A second shoelace bound his right arm and leg. Investigators would refer this to as a “hog tied” fashion.
Steve Branch was the second victim recovered from the water he was bound in a similar manner. The left side of this victim’s face had been cut open from cheek to jaw.
Christopher Byers was the third and last victim to be recovered from the water. His injuries were the most sever. His penis and scrotal sac had been removed.

Defensive wounds were present on the victim’s hands (James Michael Moore) along with unexplained directional pattern abrasions just below the victims shoulder area. Steve Branch died of multiple traumatic injuries to the head, torso and extremities with drowning. Christopher Byers died of multiple traumatic injuries to the head, violent removal of his penis, scrotal sac, and testes.
Many of the injuries, the overkill, the bite marks and t he castration of Christopher Byers would indicate a signature. A killer’s signature is also called personation, also known as ritual.

They want to let this guy out? I just hope if there is a retrial he & he is found innocent they put him into a mental hospital. I really think he sounds like a risk to the public.
I don’t know about this case but I’m sure that I won’t be relying upon Fat Nat or any of her Hollyweird pals for information, and I’m also confident that no HBO schlockumentary is any kind of reliable source....

JESSIE MISSKELLEY’S CONFESSION
In the early morning hours of May 5, 1993, the appellant received a phone call from Jason Baldwin. Baldwin asked the appellant to accompany him and Damien Echols to the Robin Hood area. The appellant agreed to go. They went to the area, which has a creek, and were in the creek when the victims rode up on their bicycles. Baldwin and Echols called to the boys, who came to the creek. The boys were severely beaten by Baldwin and Echols. At least two of the boys were raped and forced to perform oral sex on Baldwin and Echols. According to appellant, he was merely an observer.
While these events were taking place, Michael Moore tried to escape and began running. The appellant chased him down and returned him to Baldwin and Echols. The appellant also stated that Baldwin had used a knife to cut the boys in the facial area and that the Byers boy was cut on his penis. Echols used a large stick to hit one of the boys. All three
three boys had their clothes taken off and were tied up. According to the appellant, he ran away from the scene at some point after the boys were tied up. He did observe that the Byers boy was dead when he left. Sometime after the appellant arrived home, Baldwin called saying, “we done it” and “what are we going to do if somebody saw us.” Echols could be heard in the background. The appellant was asked about his involvement in a cult. He said he had been involved for about three months. The participants would typically meet in the woods. They engaged in orgies and, as an initiation rite, killing and eating dogs. He noted that at one cult meeting, he saw a picture that Echols had taken of the three boys. He stated that Echols had been watching the boys. The appellant was also asked to describe what Baldwin and Echols were wearing the day of the murders. Baldwin was wearing blue jeans, black lace-up boots and a T-shirt with a rendering of a skull and the name of the group Metallica on it. Echols was wearing black pants, boots and a black T-shirt. The appellant initially stated that the events took place about 9:00 a.m. on May 5. Later in the statement, he changed that time to 12:00 noon. He admitted that his time periods might not be exactly right. He explained the presence of the young boys by saying they had skipped school that day.
If she had evidence why has she waited all of these years.
