At this point that is my intention, but the CA primary is a long ways off, and a lot can happen between now and then.

In the words of the pollsters, if the primary were tomorrow, yes, I would cast my vote for Senator Thompson.

Why do you ask?

My agenda is my family and my country, my church, retirement account and supporting Fred Thompson. Most things like any other person. I’m not on FR all day every day.

If Hunter had a reasonable chance I might want to look into it further, about the plane. I have been for the past few years invested in companies connected with Boeing, and companies involved in research for the government. The stock boards have plentiful detailed information and often from engineering sources. I can get it if I want to.

In subsequent posts it sounds like you cooled off, so I won’t go into it further.

Why do you ask?

Because on your first post. You said, "Yes. Next question."

So I gave you a next question. :-)

“Well, someone has got to do the grunt work of getting things out in public that need to be.

If not me, than who?”

Pissant, if you really want to make changes in the long-run....

Why not create an institution that gives people like Duncan an avenue to be our future leaders? Study that, and set the standards on how to act upon that.

Have you ever thought of a day when everyone running for president is like him...and has the history to do anything? Just a thought.

Perhaps, but for the time being I’m trying to recruit people to support Hunter. And judging by the repsonse on FR, from my coworkers, family and friends, I’ve been doin pretty well.

” “Moderate Libertarian Conservative” is there, too. And I think that explains the support for Sen. Thompson...I believe he is a Conservative Moderate...that is, a moderate who leans to the right with federalist sympathies.

Perhaps that’s what we need. I’d just like to see him display more energy...his appearance of lethargy and age is the common complaint I hear from people, even his supporters, and I must agree that it hurts him.”

I don’t mind his energy level. Everything is rush...rush...rush here ie city life. I want someone to talk to me like they’re telling the truth, not selling something.

And yes, I’m a moderate libertarian conservative. Economically libertarian...to a point. Social conservative...mostly. And I would say my foreign policy views are moderate in nature...but heavily leaning conservative ie build up your army and have good intel...but avoid wars unless it’s absolutely necessary.

I think Reagan did it very well, in that he avoided big conflicts, but he built an intimidating military...with indirect warfare and propaganda.

Although I deeply disagree on his signing of Amnesty. That’s the most conservative part of me (illegal immigration), but I wouldn’t vote for a dem that was hardline on it.

Not that they exist.

Fred’s just got the closest package to my beliefs, similiar perspectives to the founders, excellent writings, and a chance.

But I would vote Duncan as well. I have my reserves about both of them, but perfection doesn’t exist.

Well I only wish you well with that.

Of coarse my views may differ on other aspects of your ‘promotion’, but needless to say I hope the best for Duncan. Now and always.

Any bright sons in his family?
