Maybe it was only me that heard that from my parents. My mom always told me my sense of humor is not that apparent when attempting a rapier type display. Of course if you have to explain the context, the crowd has been lost.
I said I would pay for my kids tuition and have based on proir achievments. Unless political leanings were part of the deal, which is doubtful because it was not mentioned, it will not make me a liar.
Your attempt to make this larger than votes is humorous but over the top. Since it is usually the dems. who pay for votes, all is well - ;)
What the heck are you talking about?
No, I’m sorry. Parents do not owe their children college tuition, no matter what the reason the children may believe.

I'm sure they were the best of times - he was still at mom and dad's table without a care nor clue.
He sounds smart to me. This little punk might learn some important lessons by having to pay his own way.
I'd sell all the stuff in his bedroom at a yard sale. When he comes home from school and asks where his stuff is ........I'd say "We donated it to the Republican Party". I'd rent him some space with a cot out in the garage if he need a place to sleep.
Your son probably had a pretty solid base before he ever left for school. You can take some credit for that.
Sounds like the usual teenage rebellion to me. Why should the father have to pay for the son's mistakes?
After checking out his website, I can understand why he's not doing as well as he had hoped. His Mema loves him though and has the largest amount of pixels (click on "Grandma Loves You" if you need a chuckle), aside from Hillary's ad.
Didn't look at all the bought spaces, as it's too annoying with all the empty image preview windows popping up, but did find it amusing that one of the spaces has a Dennis Kucinich profile in it.
A teen whose father denied him college tuition because he would not become a Republican
I have heard many reason for parents not to pay a college education but that is a first. lol. Plus since when is it a parents obligation to pay for college anyway? I really hate that! Thank God my parents had the sense to tell me I was not ready for college right out of high school. I went in the military and today I have a Master’s Degree. There is not way in heck I would have this if I went directly out of high school.
Gas lines didnt bother me a bit,
They did me and I was age 8-11 while he was president. I used to hate sitting in the hot car waiting in line. What a waste of time. I believe I became a Republican due to that experience. lol.
Look for Teddy to come out of the closet as well...
I agree. I’m 26 and my parents still try to tell me what to do and it’s annoying. Especially lately, for some reason, they’ve both been getting the ‘go pound sand’ treatment from me.
Do you still live with them?
