Lousy editing on the part of this reporter. When referring to God, "He" should be capitalized. Otherwise, it looks like a Democrat wrote the scrip. Just my opinion.

I almost always write it that way, and I thought about doing so here, but I’ve heard it can be jarring to readers who aren’t used to it. Hopefully He’s not going to make me the target of His wrath now. :-)
