Just sent OfficeMax my e-mail; looking forward to the Christmas Chamber meeting to spread the word.

Freedom of choice is a very strong power of consumers, just as freedom of speech is a very strong power of citizens of this country. That OfficeMax has decided that freedom of speech isn’t a very important concept, I’m going to exercise my freedom of choice not to continue shopping on your website and in your stores for my business. It means I have to drive just a little further to reach Staples, but with your company ignoring one of the fundamental beliefs of our country, I have no choice. I will be bringing this up at our next chamber of commerce meeting and encouraging other businesses in making the same choice.

Why don’t they want to sponsor him?

I caught this briefly on Fox yesterday.

Apparently there is an American muslim group who doesn't like his talk about how he will not yield to muslim principles (women wearing burkas, facing East and praying five times a day, etc.) so they have been contacting his sponsors demanding they stop advertising with him. I guess they quoted copyrighted material so Doc Savage may go after them in court.

Hope I've got it right. My fellow FReepers will correct me if I've made mistakes.

Because he has balls enough to call CAIR what they really are.
CAIR is going around telling his sponsors that Savage is a racist and not to do business with him/ Of course the wimp COs of these companies dont want to be called racist so they give up on Savage without knowing the truth about any of it.
CAIR is dangerous and MUST be stopped . They are linked to terrorism and they are all over the USA trying to sue people for any little thing in order to make Islam a protected group in this country.

Good for you my friend. Savage has only told the truth about CAIR . These companies are run by wimps and ignorant PC fools.

I agree. If someone decides to send an email to these companies they should point out who CAIR is and let them know who they are siding with. Some of the members of CAIR are under investigation or have been departed because of terrorist involvement, sponsorship, etc. CAIR is the one that needs to be shut down. They will not acknowledge that HAMAS is a terrorist organization and yet they dictate to companies what is right or wrong in the US.

Savage is usually quite shrill (to the point of making my ears bleed) but he is one of the few talking heads out there with the intellectual firepower and depth of understanding to really get to the core of the Lib/Socialist/feminist nonsense.

I wouldn’t sponsor him either. Guess you’ll have to boycott my posts.

Curious comment. It’s one thing not to sponsor. It’s yet another to be a sponsor, then pull the financial support on the say so of a group known for commercial intimidation, much in the fashion of Jesse Jackson and PUSH shakedowns. Both are boycotts, which seems lost on you. One may be motivated by principle, the other by greed or terror.

I wish Savage the best of luck, but yesterday was probably the last time I listen to him for awhile, as he let that anti-American, Halliburton-KBR leftist come on his show and lie, lie, lie.
