It’s the Constitution and the oath to support it which matters, not someone’s individual religious beliefs. That’s something that the Framers and Founders made very clear - “...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

I agree with that.
But there are certain religious beliefs that are in oppostion to the ideals of our nation.
And certain ones that support our nations ideals of freedom, liberty, etc.

I will personally look at those issues when I support or do not support a candidate.
And I think that every other voter needs to look at that also.
