If someone wants to call themselves a Muslim while ignoring the intolerant parts of the Koran, that's no skin off my nose, just as it's no skin off my nose if someone who calls themselves Jewish is eating a cheeseburger or working on Saturday.

If the political system known as Islam supports democracy, then we could repeal Islamic laws. But they are law because Mohammed said so.

Islam and democracy the way we know it cannot co-exist.

That pretty much says it.

Hell, even Al Quada themselves have said it.

You'd be hard pressed if you went to the middle east and could find any muslim who would disagree.

That statement is factually correct.

“Islam and democracy the way we know it cannot co-exist.”

What is there to know about Islam? Just read the Koran and be convinced that Islam, under any form, will always be the enemy of democracy.
