Twenty years from now, the US military effort on behalf of "ethnic Albanians" (i.e. feuding muslim irridentists in Serbia, a sovereign state) against a european country will seem completely bizarre.
It already seems puzzling.

...what would happen if Muslims in a region of, say, Britain or the Netherlands, should declare that they would no longer accept the laws of the central government and would form a breakaway Islamic Republic. This official then stated that they would probably just have to quietly accept that. If it comes to that, then we may as well as have a good lynching party with all such politicians as guests of honor.
