77 pages?
When I knocked on doors for President Bush I don't remember ever having a Pamphlet that read more than 4 pages.
Doesn't Edwards belong to the party that is supposed to care about trees and the environment?
Is there a little hypocrisy going on here?
77 pages? Anyone tried to assign a total dollar amount to all these proposals?
Remember that Edwards is a lawyer. Only a lawyer could call a 250-page document a “brief.”
I recall Algore’s plans to reduce government waste as VP. The plan was printed in a multivolume set by the GPO.
On what page does he teach me how to chase ambulances?
My God, the four nanny-state, something-for-everyone items on p. 77 are alone enough to make me hurl. The only thing that comes to mind when I see that populist drivel is LEAVE ME ALONE and KEEP YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF MY WALLET.
The enviros are not nearly as concerned about these timberlands as they are about those in the west, so there are fewer restrictions on the National Forests in the south.
Plus, most of the southern timberlands are held privately.
Yep, I remember that bit of accounting tomfoolery on the part of Android Al. I was rather amused that his plan to reduce make government more efficient and less wasteful occupied a 36” library shelf and part of another shelf (almost one and a quarter library shelves).

"Manchester, NH On Saturday, September 15th, and Sunday, September 16th, the Graniteroots for John Edwards will hold canvasses across New Hampshire, where volunteers will discuss Senator Edwards’ bold environmental policies and distribute tree saplings. Edwards for President national campaign manager Congressman David Bonior will participate in the canvass and help hand out tree saplings across the state."
Maybe every time the Democrats create a new entitlement program they should be required to hand out tree saplings due to the amount of trees that will be killed as a result of the bureaucratic documentation to follow.
At my hospital when given a new government regulated document required to be filled out I reply "There goes another tree in the Brazilian Rainforest." (Sarcasm) because I'm not a tree hugger and I love my wood burning stove. Its just fun to point out the hypocrisy.
